Webinar The Human Side of Working From Home

Business professional on virtual call with team. Best practices for working from home webinar.

Anyone can learn to use remote collaboration tools like Cisco WebEx® and Microsoft® Teams®. But when it comes to effectively leading, managing and communicating across remote teams, it takes more than technical skill to get the job done. It takes a new way of thinking and connecting with the people on the other side of the screen.

In this webinar, our virtual training experts will share best practices for virtual learning, leading and collaboration — focusing on methods you can use to keep remote users engaged and productive when managing remote teams.

With more than 50 years of combined experience supporting remote work and virtual training programs, Insight’s Michele Snead and Jill Blasey-Ciociola offer their knowledge and perspective to answer questions about managing both the technical and the human side of working from home, including:

  • How do adults across the generational spectrum prefer to communicate, give and receive feedback?
  • What are the most common learning styles and how can you best address them?
  • How can you keep an audience engaged and interacting, even without non-verbal cues?
  • How should you prepare for a virtual meeting or presentation?
