Achieving improved processes and strategies has always been front of mind for a holding company in Ohio. A business that acquires and rebuilds failing franchises, the organization relies on technology to support its dynamic operations. It often needs to implement new solutions at a cost-effective price and in a timely manner.
The firm had been working with an IT partner that was unable to support its technology-based objectives. Slow service and high prices on technology and shipping terms prompted the company to consider a new partner — Insight.
After learning about our procurement capabilities within myInsight, the holding company decided to work with us on upgrading the email servers for one of its franchises.

While working on upgrading the data center and finding the right software, the client also decided to purchase Lenovo laptops. We created a customized insight.com account to streamline the procurement process and established agreeable pricing for solutions along with special pricing on shipping.
Partnering with Insight on its server refresh and IT procurement delivered the speed and cost-effective pricing the client wanted.
Our technology expertise on choosing the best-fit server software for the company helped it save $197,000. And, our relationship with Dell Technologies allowed the client to find the servers it needed at the right price for its budget.
