When Cisco first presented their new modular AI infrastructure to a handful of top partners — including Insight — they threw down the gauntlet: Be the first to deploy a solution that incorporates the technology.
Insight delivered, demonstrating our AI capabilities to Cisco and our clients. So, we’re celebrating the occasion — along with our decades-long partnership with Cisco — with a ribbon cutting at Insight headquarters in Chandler, Arizona on Jan. 7.
This was more than just about bragging rights.
The Cisco Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA is engineered to propel enterprises toward secure and rapid AI adoption by combining cutting-edge AI infrastructure with inherent security features, AI-powered monitoring, and advanced AI software tools. The Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA showcase meanwhile offers hands-on demonstrations featuring AI use cases specifically tailored for industries such as manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences, and retail. They emphasize the joint strength of Cisco and NVIDIA, with a fully architected blueprint, integrating NVIDIA AI Enterprise (NVAIE) software with Cisco’s AI infrastructure and security framework.
This comprehensive approach helps clients clearly understand and address critical challenges including performance requirements, model portability and security, data sovereignty, and cost management, to confidently advance their AI initiatives.
The solution also represents universal AI infrastructure clients can deploy on premises — often for compliance, data sovereignty, or IP protection. Our long-standing goal has been to bring AI to where our clients’ data lives. Many organizations maintain large on-premises data estates because moving them to the cloud can be cost-prohibitive or impractical for the development and deployment of AI applications.
Our approach is intentionally top-down: We start by identifying high-impact use cases that augment operations or drive transformation. We always lead with the business we’re solving — a core pillar of Insight’s AI philosophy, which focuses on proving value fast.
With our recent launch of Insight AI, our comprehensive suite of services that helps clients build a clear roadmap from ideation to value, this achievement highlights not only our technical capabilities, but also our ability to integrate across the entire AI lifecycle.
Beyond developing client-specific AI use cases, we deploy and manage the underlying infrastructure, supported by Insight Prism, Radius, and Devshop; Insight AI’s core pillars. Solutions like the Cisco Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA are as critical as the cloud platforms on which we develop those apps.
As the leading AI Solutions Integrator, our differentiator is our ability to combine strategy and execution to drive real business value. With Prism (our proprietary platform used to prioritize AI use cases), Radius (our proven methodology for aligning implementation and accelerating ROI), and our software-development and AI-infrastructure capabilities, we guide clients through the entire AI journey — not just the consulting phase. We make it real.
To build out the Cisco Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA, we first received the hardware at our AI-powered Solutions Integration Center in Fort Worth, Texas where our team racked, configured, and activated it in our Research and Innovation Hubs.
A major Insight value-add comes from the platform layer. The physical infrastructure runs the NVAIE platform. We developed an AI deployment engine that deploys NVAIE and supporting components through proprietary code. Instead of manually loading all the software components, we deploy it with our code to get the platform ready to run AI apps.
The physical infrastructure includes Cisco 400GB switches, with Cisco networking figuring in a great deal to the overall solution. If you’re an existing Cisco server client, the solution should fit perfectly, as it uses a common management layer — Cisco Intersight — to integrate with the rest of the Cisco infrastructure stack.
For clients, this becomes a huge accelerator for AI adoption and eventual scale. For Insight, this project has given us a platform to showcase our capabilities as a partner of choice for Cisco-led AI opportunities.
Fresh off winning three Cisco Partner of the Year awards late last year, our collaboration with Cisco on the Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA showcase highlights a partnership that has thrived for more than 30 years. The project has empowered our joint Insight, Cisco, and NVIDIAs teams to lead clients through their AI journey.
Since the partnership’s beginnings, Insight has been widely recognized by our clients and Cisco for Global Leadership in managed networks and devices, having earned multiple certifications, master specializations, and Cisco Gold Partner status. As client demands evolve rapidly, our capabilities and efforts have as well — from traditional networking to AI-driven solutions — ensuring we remain at the forefront of innovation. Together, we deliver validated, secure, and scalable AI infrastructure that accelerates AI adoption from pilot to production, enabling clients to thrive in the AI era.
So, we are commemorating that partnership and this milestone — while also taking the opportunity to present a donation to Covenant House, an international non-profit dedicated to ending youth homelessness, a cause we have also long supported. Through the generosity of an anonymous donor who tripled donations to Covenant House before the end of 2025, Insight was able to contribute a total of $15,000 to its mission.
