Teammates Show Heart at New Ronald McDonald House

26 May 2015 by Jeff Hecht

On May 7, Insight teammates in Austin celebrated the ribbon cutting of the Ronald McDonald House at Seton Medical Center in Austin. The Insight Family Room will be used by the families of Seton Medical Center patients, and Insight teammates will stay engaged by helping with the decorations and volunteering as needed to help provide meals for the families of Seton patients.

Insight is also helping the Ronald McDonald House with some digital signage, leveraging our area of technology expertise to help them grow accordingly.

“We are thrilled to be making a difference with this great charity and equally excited to put our Insight stamp on our Austin community,” said Chris Kelleher, Insight’s director of strategic alliance – Dell. “While we were at the ribbon cutting ceremony, we received a ton of appreciation from Carolyn Schwartz, the CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities in Central Texas. They could not be more thankful for our donation, and they’re excited about our ongoing volunteer efforts.”

Also representing Insight at the ribbon cutting ceremony were Michael Lozano and Allie Radcliffe.
“This is a great example of the ‘Heart’ of Insight,” said Kelleher. “We are proud to be a part of the team in Austin that can demonstrate our commitment to giving back and create such an important amenity for the families of patients at Seton Medical Center.”
