Your Global Account Manager, is responsible for the overall management of your account worldwide, and acts as an escalation point for each of your locations—providing global reach. They coordinate internal communications within Insight and instructs our global team on how to provide the best service to you. A team of regional account managers is assigned to each of your primary locations—providing local access. This service team works with your Global Account Manager to coordinate implementation rollouts for all your sites, deploy your global standards, and resolve regional purchasing issues. Partner-Managed Countries While our global operations centers serve our clients well in each region of the world, in some countries it makes more sense for us to form strategic alliances with local resellers who have already established solid business relationships within the region. Our strategic alliances give us critical insight into government bureaucracies and tax laws, as well as sales, language, and currency support. They also help provide proof of licensing, which is critical in countries with high software piracy rates and frequent audits. But most importantly, our reseller alliances enable you to finally manage ALL your software—worldwide—from one central location. Information from your local affiliates is consolidated into our Global Data Warehouse, so you can run integrated reports, on demand, that give you an accurate picture of software across your multinational enterprise. Your Global Account Manager will work with you to identify those locations that require local field presence or phone support. Our Latin America Business Desk and Latin America partners offer you complete software support for your Latin American locations. We recommend that you use the Alliance Partnerships we have established in Latin America to minimize the complexities of managing taxes that will be applied to orders not invoiced in country. Latin America Business Desk: Your Global Account Manager works with our in-house Latin American Business Desk. They are based in the U.S. and engage with any affiliate sites your company has in Latin America. Once a local partner is selected, Insight will engage your partner of choice, inform them about any specific contract information, and request that the partner communicate with your Latin America affiliate within one business day to initiate local support. On a regular basis, contact is made with both your affiliate and the partner to monitor ongoing local support. Latin America Partners: Insight’s network of Latin American Business Partners provides software, licensing services, local invoicing, and accounts receivables. This gives you an easier means of complying with customs regulations and tariffs. Most of our Business Partners offer local value-added professional support and consulting services as required. Two of our larger partners hold multi-country LAR status so they can invoice in countries where no specific partner is named. Europe, Middle East and Africa Europe: Insight has the most extensive coverage in Europe of any software reseller.
